Refunds

Hold State’s trial is the refund policy working in advance: 14 days, the full app, no card required. Nobody pays before they’ve used the real thing.

If you buy and change your mind, email hello@holdstate.ai within 14 days of your first purchase and we’ll refund it. Paddle processes the refund as our merchant of record, so it lands back on the card you paid with.

A one-time purchase means there’s nothing to cancel. If you’re refunded, the app switches to read-only: browse, search, open, and export everything, forever. Your files were always on your Mac, and they stay yours.
